Mainland Exchange Programme for Student Leaders 2017

Programme details

The Education Bureau (EDB) organises two Mainland Exchange Programme for Student Leaders (the Programme) each year to broaden participants’ horizons, enhance their understanding of our country and its development, as well as strengthen their understanding of the attributes leaders should possess.

 

The 5-day programme will be held in Beijing from 17 to 21 April 2017 and the theme is “Science and Technology Development”.  Details and application procedures are attached at Annex 1 to Annex  in the Circular Memorandum (Chinese version only).  

 

Each school can nominate at most five Secondary 5 students and three school teachers for the Programme.  Schools having both student and teacher nominations will have their students given higher priority in the selection process.  While schools can encourage students who have not participated in Mainland Exchange Programmes before to join, their participation is on a voluntary basis.

 

Interested schools are requested to return the completed application form(s) for students and/or teachers (Annex 4 and/or Annex 5  in the Circular Memorandum, Chinese version only) by mail to the Students Mainland Exchange Programme Section of EDB at Room 934, 9/F, Wu Chung House, 213 Queen’s Road East, Wanchai on or before 10 January 2017 (Tuesday).  Late submission will not be accepted.
