Outside Guangdong Province Mainland Exchange Programme for Secondary Students (2017/18)

In alignment with the school curriculum, the Education Bureau (EDB) organises “Outside Guangdong Province Mainland Exchange Programme for Secondary School Students (2017/18)” (the Programme) with the aim of providing different learning experiences for students to deepen their understanding of the history, culture, arts, natural landscape, astronomy, ecology and conservation in Mainland.

 

Based on previous experiences in orgaining related individual exchange programmes, EDB now commissions service providers to organise 6 trips (with 1 trip divided into 2 sub-trips) between February and August 2018.  The trips range from four to six days. Students from Secondary 1 to Secondary 6 may participate.  Please refer to Annex 1  in the Circular Memorandum (Chinese version only) for details of the Programme and application procedures.  A brief summary of the trips is listed below:

Schools may apply for joining more than one of the trips.  Schools can encourage students who have not participated in Mainland exchange programmes before to join, and all  participation is on a voluntary basis.  The itineraries and other information of these 6 trips are listed at Annex 2 in the Circular Memorandum (Chinese version only).

 

Interested schools can download the application form from the website of the service providers, and return the completed application form to the relevant service provider by fax within the specified period of time [Annex 2 in the Circular Memorandum (Chinese version only)] before the departure of the trip which the school intends to join.
