This circular memorandum invites primary schools to nominate Primary 4 to 6 students and school teachers (including principals) to participate in the captioned programme.



1. The Education Bureau (EDB) organises the “Mainland Exchange Programme for Upper Primary Students An Exploration of Guangdong and Guangxi (2017/18)”.  This Programme, in line with the school curriculum, aims at enhancing students’ understanding of our country’s natural landscape and its environmental proctection as well as the development of agricultural technology.

2. The Programme is scheduled for the period between 21 and 27 June 2018, and consists of the following study tours.

3. Schools may apply for joining more than one route and can nominate at most two groups of participants (each group consists of 10 Primary 4 to 6 students and 1 teacher) for the Programme.  Schools can encourage students who have not participated in Mainland exchange programmes before to join this Programme, and all participation is on a voluntary basis.  Interested schools are requested to return the completed application form (Annex 4, Chinese version only) by fax (3104 0716) to the Students Mainland Exchange Programme Section of EDB on or before 20 April 2018 (Friday).  Late submissions will not be accepted.
