Details
The Education Bureau (EDB) organises the Mainland exchange programme entitled ‘Commemoration of the “September 18 Incident” and Exploration of the History, Culture and Industrial Development of Shenyang and Fushun (2019/20)’ (the Programme) for students. The Programme, in line with the curriculum, aims at enhancing students’ understanding of the major historical events through visiting the “September 18 Incident” memorial site on 18 September and deepening their understanding of the history and culture, as well as the industrial development of Northeast China.

 

This 5-day programme is scheduled for 16 to 20 September 2019. Details and application procedures are attached at Annex 1 to Annex 3 (Chinese version only).

 

Each school can nominate at most two groups of participants (each group consists of 10 Secondary 4 to 6 students and 1 teacher) for the Programme. Schools can encourage students who have not participated in any Mainland exchange programmes before to join the Programme, and all participation is on a voluntary basis. Interested schools are requested to return the completed application form (Annex 4, Chinese version only) to the Students Mainland Exchange Programme Section of the EDB by fax (3104 0716) on or before 28 June 2019 (Friday). Late submissions will not be accepted.
