The Fifteenth "Hong Kong Cup Diplomatic Knowledge Contest"
Contest details
The “Hong Kong Cup Diplomatic Knowledge Contest” (the Contest) is jointly organised by the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the HKSAR, the Education Bureau, and the Better Hong Kong Foundation. It aims to enhance students’ interest in and awareness of the diplomatic knowledge of our country so that they can develop a global outlook and an understanding of the importance of diplomacy in the trends of globalisation.
The theme of this Contest is “New Journey for the Motherland, New Chapter for Hong Kong, New Opportunities for the World”. The schedule and regulations of the Contest are attached at Annex 1 and Annex 2 respectively (Chinese version only).
To encourage students to learn more about diplomacy, the organisers will provide some reading materials to the participating students and teachers for their reference. Please refer to Annex 2 and Annex 3 (Chinese version only) for details. The poster of the Contest will be sent to schools by post on or before January 2023 for display in schools.
Schools interested in nominating their students to participate in the Contest are requested to complete and submit the “Nomination Entry Form” at the website of the Hong Kong Education City (https://www.edcity.hk/diplomatic/reg) from 15 December 2022 (Thursday) to 19 January 2023 (Thursday).
